Suggestions for music and readings?

We love the idea of getting input from our friends and family to help us plan our wedding. If you know us well, you know that we often tend to be very nontraditional. (i.e. wedding on a lakefreighter.) So, we are looking for your favorite love songs (and whatever else fits) that you might think appropriate for the ceremony or the reception. Modern and new songs are great, along with blues, ballads, punk, and polka ... well, maybe not all of those.

  • you could play:

    "sea cruise"
    "sea of love"
    "rock the boat"
    "ship of fools"

    but not:

    "the love boat"

  • No need to remain anonymous everyone! Leave your name so that everyone else knows who you are. :) You can mark the selection "Other" and just fill in your name ... leave the "Web Page" blank -- that's OK. Later! *B*

  • I'm trying hard to incorporate some Magnetic Fields into the ceremony and reception, despite their abundance of depressing love songs. :)

Any thoughts of which are the best to include and where?

Maybe some Belle & Sebastion, too, though I'm not as familiar with their songs.

And, I know Roberta already did this, but some Badly Drawn Boy, too -- definitely. Now, what songs...
